Question

How can I access Australian Standards online?

Answer

From 7 October 2023, i2i has implemented Vitrium, a new digital rights management (DRM) solution.

Adobe Reader and PDF Exchange are now the only supported programs to read downloaded PDFs.

Action required

If you use Adobe Acrobat Reader to access standards, you must update the settings to view the downloaded standard.

Personal computers

  1. Open Adobe Acrobat
  2. Go to File > Preferences
  3. Go to JavaScript
  4. Unselect 'Enable global object security policy'
  5. Save and attempt to reopen the downloaded standard.

See this FAQ for information on how to access standards on ANU Information Commons (IC) computers.
