Question
I'm getting an error message when I try to open an article. How can I fix this?
The most common error message is:
"Your connection is not private: Attackers might be trying to steal your information"
Answer
This error usually occurs in Chrome. To fix it, you can either:
- Use a different internet browser like Microsoft Edge or Mozilla Firefox
- Clear your cache in Chrome.
To clear your Chrome cache:
1. Click on the three dots on the far top right of the browser screen (Customise and control Google Chrome)
2. Choose Settings from the drop-down menu

3. Choose Security and privacy

4. From the options on the right, choose 'Clear browsing data'

5. Make sure all the options are ticked, select 'All time' from the Time range drop-down, and click 'Clear data'

Please note: clearing your cache may remove stored information on certain websites, so you may wish to take note of your saved information first.
