Question

What are the charges for overdue or lost books?

Answer

Fines vary depending on the type of material, and the amount of time your item has been overdue for.

Any item more than four weeks overdue will be deemed lost. A replacement cost of $110, or the cost to the Library of replacing the item, plus a non-refundable administration fee of $110, will be charged for lost and destroyed items.

Visit the Fines & charges webpage for more detailed information, including how to appeal a Library fine or charge.
