Is the library open on public holidays?
Answer
The Chifley, Hancock, and Law libraries are accessible 24/7 to current ANU staff and students via their swipe cards. However, all library branches are closed to the public on nights, weekends, and public holidays.
The library is closed to the public and accessible only to staff and students with swipe access on the following public holidays:
- Australia Day
- Canberra Day
- Good Friday
- Easter Monday
- ANZAC Day
- Reconciliation Day
- King’s Birthday
- Labour Day
